How can we help?

Enter the first ball by tapping the pins still standing. When the standing pins form a split, like 7-10 or 4-6, Sparewise marks it for you and circles the count on the score sheet. On the second ball, tap Made or Missed, or tap the pins you knocked down.

Count entry cannot tell which pins are standing, so it cannot mark splits. Use pin entry for those frames, or edit the frame later.

1. Tap the frame on the score sheet.
2. For each ball, tap the pins that were still standing after it.
3. Tap Save. The count, marks and every later total update.

Finished games can be edited the same way: open the session in Sessions, tap the game, then Edit.

Tap the 10th frame and set each ball again. After a strike or a spare in the 10th, a card for the fill ball appears. If there was no strike or spare, there is no third ball. The game total updates when you save.

Handicap is (basis − your average) × percentage, rounded down and never below 0. With a basis of 220 at 90% and an average of 187: (220 − 187) × 90% = 29 pins per game.

Set the basis and percentage per league in More › Centers and leagues. Your average for handicap comes from your games before that night.

Open More › Import › Pick a CSV file. Every row appears in a preview, and nothing is saved until you confirm. Importing the same file twice adds nothing.

Each row needs a date and a score (or frames). Dates like 2026-10-06, 10/6/2026 and 6.10.2026 are recognized.

Other columns Sparewise reads: bowler, game, frames (for example X 9/ X X 81 7/, which also fills in strikes, spares and leaves), league, center, lane, pattern, ball and notes. Column order does not matter, common column names from other apps are recognized, and unknown columns are ignored.
